CM orders probe into Pune land deal linked to Ajit Pawar's son

According toa government official, 40 acres of “Mahar Vatan land belonging to the government” in Pune’s upmarket Mundhwa area was sold to Amadea Enterprises LLP—a private company in which Parth Pawar is a partner — for ₹300 crore on May 20, 2025, while its market value is estimated at ₹1,800 crore. It further revealed that a stamp duty worth ₹21 crore was also waived.

Documents accessed by HT revealed that the 40-acre plot in Mundhwa was transferred in the names of private individuals, who sold it to Amadea Enterprises. In the agreement, 272 people sold the Mundhwa land to Amadea Enterprises through a power of attorney granted to Shital Tejwani, a Pune resident.
Amid Opposition uproar, the Mahayuti government has formed an inquiry panel, to be led by additional chief secretary (Revenue) Vikas Kharge. Inspector general of registration, Ravindra Binwade, said the panel has been asked to submit the report within 10 days.
