Govt Identifies 1,490 Habitations Without Roads; Survey Completed

The state government has identified 1,490 habitations that have no roads under Phase 4 of the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) and has completed the survey for constructing approximately 8,500 km of roads in the first phase, according to an official statement issued by the state government on Thursday.

"The survey for 1,490 roadless habitations under PMGSY-4 has been completed, and DPR (Detailed Project Report) preparation is underway. To ensure quality control, the government has developed a special inspection app. This app records field officers' inspections, facilitating real-time monitoring by senior officials. The initiative has been recognised at the national level, with other states being encouraged to adopt similar measures," the statement said.
