Gujarat ATS arrests doctor, two others in Ricin poison terror plot

Three men who were allegedly preparing to carry out a terrorist attack in India with a highly-lethal chemical poison have been arrested ina coordinated operation with Uttar Pradesh ATS, Gujarat ATS said on Sunday.
Officers arrested the main accused, 35-year-old doctor Ahmed Mohiyuddin Saiyed from Hyderabad, during surveillance near the Adalaj toll plaza on the Ahmedabad-Mehsana highway on Friday after specific intelligence indicated he had travelled to Gujarat for the plot.
‘According to a senior police officer, the other two accused arrested from Banaskantha in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday have been identified as Azad Suleman Sheikh, 20, a tailor from Shamli district, Mohammad Suhail Mohammad Saleem, 23, a student from Lakhimpur Kheri district.
