The producers of "Delhi 2020", a movie based on the riots that broke out in north Delhi in February 2020, on Friday undertook before the high court that they will not screen the movie on social media or theatres until the same is certified by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
A bench of Justice Prathiba M Singh reserved the verdict on a clutch of pleas seeking postponement of the movie's January 2 release, and taking cognizance of the trailer, the producers—Midas Touch Films and Pearl Birds Studio Production, represented by senior advocate Manish Mehta—submitted that they will also add a disclaimer to the trailer available on YouTube that the film is a "fictional and dramatized version" that has been created by the filmmakers by taking creative liber
