As Delhi continued to battle hazardous air over the weekend, a social media post went viral for capturing the stark contrast between the Capital's smog and cleaner global skylines. An X user, Naman Jain, shared a photograph of his aircraft at the Delhi airport with the caption, “Byee Delhi”.

Moments later, he posted a picture of Singapore's skyline, writing, “Hello Singapore, my lungs are definitely not ready for this 400 → 40 AQI transition.” The comparison struck a chord with users, many of whom echoed similar struggles.
