{ MANTUROV CONCLUDES VISIT
Russia offered to supply more oil and natural gas to India during Russian first deputy prime minister Denis Manturov’s meetings with the country’s top leadership, which focused on ways to advance cooperation in critical areas such as energy, fertilisers and connectivity.
Manturov, who co-chairs the Russia-India Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical and Cultural Cooperation along with external affairs minister S Jaishankar, concluded a two-day visit on Thursday. Besides Jaishankar, he met Prime Minister Narendra Modi, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
