The war of words between the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi and the Election Commission of India (ECI) continued on Monday amid the latter's reported decision to release electoral roll data for Haryana and Maharashtra from 2009 to 2024, with the Congress lawmaker questioning when the poll body will announce the exact date by which the data will be handed over.
NEW DELHI:
"Good first step taken by Election Commission to hand over voter rolls," he said in a post on X. "Can the EC please announce the exact date by which this data will be handed over in a digital, machine-readable format?"
