Pending Dues for Sessions 2022-23 & 2024-25 Have Only Been Released for Entry Class, Says Association
CHANDIGARH: After the UT education department wrote to all private unaided schools regarding any pending dues for EWS admissions, the Independent Schools Association (ISA), in response, has raised the issues regarding the reimbursement of economically weaker section (EWS) admission seats.
The ISA is a tricity-based association with over 77 member schools. As per the letter (copy with HT), the association alleges that the department has specifically mentioned the quantum of reimbursement which will be done, and the money has been sanctioned. They further alleged that against the said amount of 3,206 to be released per child, but the department has released only 70% of this amount, which is 2,406.
