MC Clears Illegal Hutments on Govt Land in Manimajra

In a continued effort to remove illegal encroachments and reclaim public land, the Chandigarh municipal corporation (MC) on Saturday carried out a demolition drive to remove unauthorised hutments near Nirankari Bhawan on Mouli Link Road, Manimajra.
CHANDIGARH:
Following the directions of municipal commissioner Amit Kumar, a joint team of the civic body's enforcement and engineering wings conducted the drive. During the operation, several unauthorised shanties located in Manimajra's Pocket Number 6 were dismantled.
