What was once a tool to document life's moments has now transformed into an obsessive need to curate experiences for an online audience. This shift in perspective is leading to a profound loss of genuine connection with the world around us.

While watching an old album carrying the pictures of my childhood and teenage years, I could easily recall the memories. Though the pictures were fewer, they carried memories in abundance, because we used to observe things, which are stored somewhere in our subconscious mind. Nowadays, we have lots of pictures and videos but fewer memories related to them. We restrict ourselves to likes and comments on our social networking accounts.
