J&K eye victory, spinners hold the key for Delhi

Jammu and Kashmir are in sight of a victory over Delhi in Ranji Trophy as they require 114 runs on the final day on a crumbling Feroz Shah Kotla track where finger spinners are ruling the roost. At stumps on Day 3, J&K were 55/2 in pursuit of 179 in the group D encounter.
Delhi rode on Ayush Badoni’s (72 off 73 balls) flamboyance and Ayush Doseja's (62 off 88 balls) grit to finish their second innings on 277 in 69.1 overs. Sanat Sangwan (34) and Arpit Rana (43) added 86 runs for the opening stand, but Badoni’s knock came at a time where deliveries from left-arm spinner Vanshaj Sharma (6/68) and off-spinner Sahil Lothra (3/73) turned viciously and many kept low. The last five wickets fell for just 10 runs.
