An inquiry into Canada's recent elections has alleged that India was the "second most active country engaging in electoral foreign interference", with only China having a greater impact on the country's democratic processes.

The report of the public inquiry into federal electoral processes and democratic institutions, headed by justice Marie-Josee Hogue, was released on Tuesday.
