No arrests made with police appealing for witnesses
A YOUNG girl has died after a crash involving a Range Rover in a heartbreaking tragedy.
Officers say the girl died after the collision in Rochdale on Monday evening (April 28).
Police say that at around 5.35pm, “a Range Rover was travelling west-bound along Ashfield Road, when it collided with a six-year-old girl who had entered the carriageway”.
Officers say the girl suffered serious injuries and died shortly afterwards - despite the best efforts of emergency services.
