Potholes vanish, as if by magic

As if by magic, potholes in a picture postcard village on the edge of Dartmoor have vanished overnight.
Potholes on a path in Lustleigh have been filled in
(William Dax/SWNS)
This wizardry in Lustleigh comes courtesy of the production company filming a new Harry Potter television series in the village.
Residents had been complaining about the state of its roads and lanes for years with a special pothole reporting service set up.
But while a volunteer group has tried to fix holes where they can - the arrival of the Harry Potter film crew has helped fill in a few.
The village is being used for filming of the new HBO version of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone after the cast and crew moved on from the quiet fishing village of Cadgwith on The Lizard in Cornwall last week.
