If you ‘grow your own,’ you've probably sown various seeds by now.

Although you can use the right compost, light and warmth to encourage germination, if you are like most gardeners, you don’t know exactly how your seeds grow.

Jesus says that the growth of God's kingdom is like that. He told a parable, which begins: “The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground, and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how” (Mark 4:26-27).
