Rain continues to lash several areas of the UAE

Light to heavy rain fell on Monday in various locations, including Al Dhafra, Al Nouf, the Abu Dhabi-Al Dhafra Road, the Central Region, Huwailat, Al Manai, Wadi Al Ajili, Wadi Al Qour, Wadi Al Helo, Hatta and Masafi in the Eastern Region, as well as along the Khorfakkan Road.

Further rain is expected in the east and south of the country, due to an extension of a surface low-pressure system accompanied by a low-pressure system in the upper atmosphere, as forecast by the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

The NCM also expects clear to partly cloudy weather on Tuesday, with a chance of cumulus clouds and rain in the east and south. It will be humid overnight and on Wednesday morning in some coastal and inland areas, with a chance of light fog.
