Musabbeh Al Mheiri’s Rabaah produced a sparkling performance in the JARC Sprint Series sponsored by ESS, lighting up the second meeting of the Jebel Ali Racecourse season with a stunning upset in Dubai on Saturday.

Rabaah surged through the dirt under a perfectly timed ride from Daniel Tudhope, sweeping past the fancied Attwaal to capture the feature contest in style.

Resident trainer Michael Costa's Attwaal (IRE), the firm favourite, launched a determined bid under Silvestre De Sousa but found himself outgunned in the decisive moments.

Princ Rouz produced a thrilling performance to claim victory in Emirates Airline Cup, narrowly denying the favourite in a closely contested finish.

The 6-year-old Cherny Prince gelding, trained by Bhupat Seemar and ridden by Tadhg O'Shea, dug deep into his reserves of grit to overcome Elraaed, the Dubawi gelding who ran a strong race but ultimately had to settle for second.

Trainer Salem Bin Ghadayer celebrated a double on the card, with On The Way winning the Dubai Refreshment (P.J.S.C) Cup - Daaeem Incentive Race and Deciduous sealing the day by taking the Al Awir Handicap Stakes.

Rakaan made a winning debut in 2YO Maiden Stakes — Daaeem Incentive Race after narrowly edging out Doug Watson's Marapat.
