Monochrome Majesty show by Art4you Gallery hosts kaleidoscopic dialogues
Gulf Today

Monochrome Majesty, an international exhibition hosted by Art4you Gallery under the curatorship of Jesno Jackson, was a dialogue in black, white, and gold.
Held at Mehromah Art Gallery, Dubai, the show that closed doors on November 12, brought together global artists, interior designers, architects, collectors, cultural and art patrons, to explore the timeless sophistication of black, white, and gold through diverse creative expressions. The colour palette actually transcended trends; instead of being mere operational colours, the black, white and gold actually moved inside and explored their harmony, contrast and symbolic power, through a diverse collection of contemporary artworks.
The opening evening on November 5, given the participants and audience, marked a confluence of fine art and interior design. The event was graced by eminent guests and well-wishers, whose presence added depth and significance to the artistic dialogue, both among the artworks and between the artists and viewers. The exhibition was presented as a visual journey where each piece spoke its own story, minimal yet majestic, and modern yet timeless. In her welcome address, Jesno Jackson, who is also Founder and Chief Curator of Art4you Gallery, shared the concept behind the exhibition.
"Black, white, and gold," she said, "are not merely colours; they are emotions, energies, and balanced expressions. Through this show, we wanted to bring together a visual conversation that spoke to both the heart of art and the soul of design." Artists included Phil Coleman, Sunanda Docherty, Perihan Marwan, Christina Gabriela B, Jeff Canare, Ruby Narag, Anju Choksi, Janvi Choksi, Prachi Kulkarni, Karoline Denisha, Aimee George, Yaashi Khatanhar, Natalia Venerova, Salma Barakat, Banashree Sengupta and Karthika (Kay), among others.
