Man gets Dhs100,000 as compensation after accident

The Al Ain Civil and Administrative Cases Court has ordered a woman to pay Dhs100,000 in compensation to the owner of a car she collided with due to her negligence and failure to adhere to traffic rules.

The accident resulted in a complete shoulder bone fracture, requiring surgery to stabilise it.

The victim was discharged from hospital on two months' sick leave.

Due to the injury, he was absent from work, resulting in him losing his salary until his employer terminated his employment.

Specifically, the plaintiff filed a lawsuit against the defendant, requesting a ruling at the end of the proceedings that would oblige the defendant to pay the plaintiff Dhs500,000 in material and moral compensation, plus legal interest at a rate of 12% from the date the ruling becomes final until full payment is made.
