Las Palmas beat Atletico, Barca’s Lewandowski doubtful for King’s Cup final

Spanish media reported Lewandowski could be sidelined for three weeks, a potentially huge blow for Barcelona who face Inter Milan in the Champions League semi-finals in the coming weeks
-
Javi Munoz's 93rd-minute strike earned Las Palmas an important I-0 La Liga win over Atletico Madrid on Saturday, hammering another nail into the coffin of the Rojiblancos' title ambitions.
Diego Simeone's side, third, now trail leaders. Barcelona by IO points after the Catalans came from two goals down to beat Celta Vigo 4-3 earlier in the day.
Atletico's season is virtually over and although the coach insisted his team would fightuntil the end for La Liga, their chances of mounting a comeback are next to none.
They are three points behind second-placed Real Madrid, who host Athletic Bilbao, fourth, on Sunday. Victory helped Las Palmas climb provisionally 17th, out of the relegation zone and two points clear of Alaves, who face Sevilla on Sunday.
The match started slowly, with Las Palmas the more enterprising side, boasting more of the ball.
Alex Suarez should have sent the hosts ahead with a header which he directed straight at Atletico goalkeeper Jan Oblak.
Dario Essugo, on loan from Sporting Lisbon and already signed for next season by Chelsea, lashed wide of Oblak's near post from range.
