Dubai Basketball's U18 Elite Program team has been crowned champions of the Kvarner 2025 Invitational Tournament in Rijeka, Croatia, capping off a remarkable week on their European tour.

The team showcased exceptional skill and determination, winning both of their games to claim the title. In the semifinals, Dubai Basketball faced KK Zadar, one of Croatia's most historic basketball academies, securing a thrilling 2-point 87:85 victory over the home team.
The final saw another nail-biting contest as the team battled KK Kvarner, emerging victorious with a single-point difference (88:87) in an intense and closely fought game that demonstrated their composure under pressure.
Reflecting on the achievement, Head Coach Irhad Tinjak praised the team's resilience and growth, saying, "I'm extremely proud of what the boys accomplished here in Croatia.
"Winning such close games against strong European academies shows how far we have come as a team.
