Drop in temperature expected on Wednesday: NCM

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) predicted a gradual decline in temperatures on Wednesday, with possibility of fog formation and dust-stirring winds in western regions.

The Arabian Gulf will be slightly rough due to weak surface pressure systems affecting the country, accompanied by an upper-air high-pressure extension, the NCM said.

On Monday, the lowest temperature recorded in the UAE was 23.2°C in Damtha in Al Ain, at 05:30 UAE local time. The NCM noted that maximum temperatures will range between 35°C and 48°C, while minimum will range between 23°C and 33°C.

Tuesday's weather is expected to be generally clear, occasionally partly cloudy, and humid during the night and early on Wednesday morning, with possible light fog in some coastal and inland areas.
