Driver falls asleep at the wheel, causes mishap

The Dubai Police General Command has warned of the dangers of driving while feeling extremely tired or sleepy, as this can lead to serious accidents resulting in death or injury.
Brigadier Juma Salem Bin Suwaidan, Director of the General Traffic Department at Dubai Police, said that simple mistakes such as falling asleep at the wheel can have fatal consequences. He made this statement after a driver was injured in a collision involving two trucks on Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Road, near the Al Maktoum Airport roundabout, heading towards Abu Dhabi.
