Court orders man to repay Dhs19,890 to another

The Abu Dhabi Family, Civil, and Administrative Cases Court has ordered a man to repay Dhs16,890, besides a fine of Dhs3,000 after he failed to repair a car entrusted to him and allowed it to accumulate fines, leading to its impoundment.
The case was filed by a man who demanded that the appellee pay him Dhs16,850, cover the car's fines, release it from impoundment, and compensate him with Dhs20,000 for damages.
The plaintiff also sought reimbursement of legal fees and attorney’s costs.
He stated that he had handed over his car to the appellee for repairs after transferring Dhs16,850 to his account, but he delayed the repairs and refused to return the money.
