Aleema stages sit-in, urges supporters to remain peaceful

Police stopped the sisters of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan on Tuesday at the Factory Checkpost as they were travelling to meet their brother, prompting Aleema Khan to stage a sit-in along with party workers at the site.
Despite police barricades, several PTI workers gathered at the location and raised slogans against the government.
Addressing supporters, Aleema Khan urged them to remain peaceful, saying, “We have no fight with the police. They are our brothers. They are also under pressure and are treating us well.”
She said supporters were being pushed back because women were also present at the protest.
She alleged that the PTI founder had been denied family meetings for a long time, calling it “mental torture.”
