Let not artificial intelligence (AI) manipulate. This and more, from an educator and a psychiatrist as summer means rest and recreation while families have begun juggling time and resources for the academic year 2025-2026, which begins 27 days from Tuesday ~ Aug.25. Professor Manda Venkatramana from Ajman said: “As educators and parents, our collective role is to prepare children not just for classrooms; but, for life.”

- Mariecar Jara-Puyod, Senior Reporter

Dr Nidhi Kumar from Dubai cautioned that “balanced diet, regular exercise and the eight-to-IO hour sleep” must be maintained as these may be disrupted during summer due to family bonding and tailored activities which are also good for these boost inquisitiveness and creativity.

Venkatramana, the Gulf Medical University acting chancellor and Kumar, the Aster Clinic (Al Muteena, Deira) Psychiatry specialist were interviewed concerning school preparations which may be overlooked because of familiarity and predictability.

Venkatramana stressed: “The transition into a new academic year goes far beyond enrolment, uniforms and books.” He and Kumar were particularly asked regarding mental health and wellness as experts have observed a plunge on these as a consequence since the Novel Coronavirus five years back and as an aftermath of the rising zenith of Al, a basic component of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, making all governments strive towards digital literacy and have Al well-rooted in their respective basic to higher education curricula.
