Agency’s report on its startup ecosystem unbiased

Kerala Startup Mission has clarified that it had not influenced the report highlighting the southern state's “phenomenal growth” of the ecosystem based on “unbiased research.”

The Congress party-led opposition United Democratic Front had alleged that the government paid US$ 48,000 to the US-based Startup Genome to generate then report.
“Startup Genome is an organisation having worked with more than 160 economic and innovation ministries and agencies in over 55 countries,” the KSUM said in a release.
“Its reports enjoy irrefutable credibility and acceptability as a reputed and totally independent organisation that does not give in to any external influence or bias.”
