380 Iftar sites for those fasting in Sharjah

The Department of Islamic Affairs in Sharjah has announced 380 Iftar sites dedicated to fasting people in various areas and cities of the Emirate of Sharjah, during the Holy Month of Ramadan. The Department is responsible for issuing the necessary licences for these sites, as well as for their organisations and coordination in cooperation with charitable entities and benefactors. This is part of the framework of Ramadan initiatives, which aim to support the spirit of community solidarity.

The Iftar sites are strategically located for easy access, including near mosques and main squares in key areas of the emirate. There are 250 Iftar sites in the city of Sharjah, 71 in the Central Region, and 59 in the Eastern Region. This ensures that meals reach the largest possible number of people in need, the Department said.
