In one of the biggest explosives hauls near the national capital in recent years, police have recovered nearly three tonnes of explosives from two houses in Haryana's Faridabad over 48 hours, leading to the arrest of two Kashmiri doctors, suspected of links to proscribed terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed.

A joint operation by Jammu and Kashmir Police and Haryana Police uncovered the caches on consecutive days first on Sunday, when 350kg of suspected ammonium nitrate, arms, and timers were found, followed by a second, larger seizure yesterday of 2,563kg of explosives from another location rented by the same suspect.
