Global Food Week begins in Abu Dhabi

Focus on advancing global cooperation to deal with food security challenges

Global Food Week aims to address food innovation, agri-tech, supply chain and logistics, sustainability and healthy nutrition, and food security and policy development.

Global Food Week, which brings together decision-makers, experts and global companies in the food and agriculture sectors, began at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (Adnec) yesterday. The event runs until tomorrow.

This year’s edition features 2,070 companies from 75 countries, including 18 first-timers. Emirati companies represent 1,055 exhibitors and brands, accounting for 51 per cent of participants.
