Attesting overdue lease contracts made simpler

Sharjah residents can also complete process through the Aqari digital platform

Sharjah Municipality has announced flexible options to help residents settle overdue lease contracts, following a Sharjah Executive Council resolution addressing unattested leases that expired before the implementation of Law No 5 of 2024 on real estate leasing in the emirate.

The municipality confirmed that 12 service centres across Sharjah are ready to provide lease contract attestation services. Residents can also complete the process digitally through the Aqari platform, available on the Sharjah Digital app and website.
