Unilever's fall in revenue despite turnaround plans

CONSUMER goods giant Unilever has reported a fall in revenue despite a year-long turnaround plan aimed at rejuvenating the company.
The business makes brands such as Marmite and Persil and has UK operations in South Wales, Gloucestershire, East Staffordshire, the Wirral and Leeds.
The company saw a 0.9 per cent drop in total sales to EUR14.8bn (£12.65bn) in Q1 2025, largely due to declines in personal and home care products, which fell by 4.4 per cent and 4.2 per cent respectively.
Unilever is currently halfway through a significant restructuring plan.
