>> LEVI Steele was the hero for Evesham United as they won promotion from the Southern League Division One South with a 1-0 win over Malvern Town in the play-off final.

A crowd of nearly 3,000 at the Jubilee Stadium saw Steele settle the contest in the 63rd minute to send Evesham up to step 3.

Evesham had beaten Exmouth Town 4-1 in their semi-final, while Malvern edged out Bishop's Cleeve 3-2 after extra time.

FAIRFORD Town lifted the GFA Challenge Trophy with a 9-8 penalty shootout win over Hallen.

The sides drew 0-0 after 90 minutes at The GFA's Oaklands Park ground but Jamie Reid's side edged out the Western League Division One champions after a dramatic 24-kick shootout.

It was 3-3 after the first five kicks each, then progressed to 8-8 before both sides missed their 11th kicks.

Hallen then missed their next one, but Fairford won the trophy with their 12th attempt.

Hellenic League champions Hartpury University also needed penalties to win the league's Challenge Cup, beating Worcester Raiders 7-6 in the shootout after a 0-0 draw.

Stonehouse Town lifted the Supplementary Cup, also on penalties, winning 5-3 against Wantage Town after a 2-2 draw.

Jaxson Hundt scored five times as Gloucester City Development beat Aston Clinton Sports 8-0 to lift the Division Two Presidents Challenge Cup. Keaton Bienusa netted twice with Biaya Kayembe getting the other goal.

>> FRAMPTON United will finish third in the County League after their 2-0 win over Filton Athletic.

Goals from Adam Cox and Henry Driver-Dickerson mean they end the campaign two points behind champions Almondsbury.
