Spot on Langworthy fires home late penalty to confirm a play-off place

BISHOP'S Cleeve secured their place in the Southern League Division One South play-offs with Ross Langworthy's last-minute penalty giving them a 1-0 win over Evesham United on Monday.

Cleeve are odds-on to finish third in the table, which would book them a home semi-final, ahead of this weekend's final game at relegated Cribbs.
The Mitres' win also hit Evesham's title bid, as they now sit second, three points behind Yate, and finish the regular season at home to Bashley, while Yate are at home to Didcot.
Cleeve were reduced to 10 men when Will Turner was dismissed for a second bookable offence, but earned a penalty in the last moments of the game after a foul on Jay Malshanskyj, and skipper Langworthy stepped up and smashed the penalty home.
