Theatre turns into artwork as artists collaborate

The Hovering: A Living Presence, a show rich in colour, sound and imagery, came alive at the Market Community Theatre last Friday when a group of local artists collaborated to create an immersive experience of artistic expression.

Petronel Baard, singer and songwriter, took to the stage in a stunning vocal performance, transforming Louisa Punt-Fouché's poetry from her latest book, Breathing with the Earth, into living art. Baard performed in front of a visual backdrop of flowing images and video material, created by FP Senekal, a former filmmaker.
