DAK-netwerk, 'n organisasie wat hom beywer vir die belange van bruin mense, het onlangs 'n tak in George gestig met pastoor Jannie Horne as sameroeper.
Die netwerk, wat sy hoofkantoor in Kaapstad het, poog tans om homself te posisioneer sodat hy deel kan vorm van die Nasionale Dialoog. Horne sê hy het na DAK uitgereik omdat daar in George en die res van die Suid-Kaap verskeie leiers is wat betrokke wil wees by die Nasionale Dialoog.
"Daar is baie mense wat wil deelneem, maar niemand is so georganiseerd soos DAK nie en ons wil seker maak dat ons by die dialoog kan insette gee oor die posisie van bruin mense in die land. Ons bly uitgesluit. Eers was ons te bruin of te swart en nou is ons nie swart genoeg nie."
