Louis Massyn (75) maak hom gereed om sy 50ste Comrades-marathon Sondag 8 Junie aan te pak.

Massyn, 'n bekende Suid-Afrikaanse atleet wat dié marathon al 49 keer voltooi het, het sy eerste marathon in 1973 voltooi en 'n persoonlike beste tyd van 6 uur 25 minute in 1981 behaal.

Hierdie ongelooflike mylpaal is nie net 'n bewys van Louis se uithouvermoë en toewyding nie, maar ook 'n geleentheid om iets terug te gee aan die gemeenskap.

Massyn het saamgespan met Binah en die Legacy Centre in George, 'n organisasie wat ondersteuning bied aan kinders met spesiale behoeftes.

Deur sy 50ste Comrades-marathon poog hy om geld in te samel vir hierdie waardige saak en ander aan te moedig om saam met hom 'n verskil te maak.
