Goals (SDGs). The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar celebrated the 5th Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas (JJGD) in line with directives from the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India.

The event, held under the supervision of Director NIT Srinagar Prof. Binod Kumar Kanaujia, featured Prof. (HAG) Roohie Naaz Mir, In-charge Director, as the Chief Guest.

The celebrations were orchestrated by Dr. Kurella Swamy, Nodal Officer for Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas, along with the other Coordinators, Dr. Ravi Kumar, Dr. Nitika Kundan, Dr. Pankaj Kumar and Dr. Anil Singhal.

The ceremony commenced with the lighting of a lamp and floral tributes to Baghwan Birsa Munda by Prof. Roohie Naaz.

In her key address, Prof. Roohie Naaz highlighted the historic importance of the day, emphasizing the fight of the Tribal Freedom fighters for equality.
