KVIC disburses margin subsidy of ₹300 crore under PMEGP scheme

The Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC), under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, disbursed Rs 300 crore as margin money subsidy to 8,794 beneficiaries nationwide via a virtual program under the Prime Minister's Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP).
This subsidy supported loans totaling Rs 884 crore, aiming to boost self-employment and entrepreneurship. KVIC Chairman Shri Manoj Kumar highlighted PMEGP's role in fostering self-reliance and creating employment for youth, aligning with the visio
