AIFs Need More Investments in Deeptech

Despite the alternative investment fund (AIF) industry growing at a significant pace, certain concerns remain to be addressed, said industry experts at the FE Modern BFSI Summit on Friday.
They suggested various ways such as promoting innovation, investments into deeptech and easing of the accreditation process to further develop the industry.
Sebi chief general manager Aparna Thyagarajan, Kotak Mahindra AMC MD Nilesh Shah, Waterfield Advisors founder and CEO Soumya Rajan and Pavestone Capital managing partner V Laxmikanth took part in a panel discussion.
