THE RUPEE ROSE to a two-month high on Thursday, advancing 26 paise to 86.185 against the US dollar, aided by weaker dollar index—the lowest in 2025.
THE RUPEE ROSE to a two-month high on Thursday, advancing 26 paise to 86.185 against the US dollar, aided by weaker dollar index—the lowest in 2025. In addition, foreign institutional investors turning net buyers in the equities market on Thursday helped the local currency. Today's rise marked the fifth consecutive session of gains, making it the longest rally in nearly five months. The local currency has gained 85 paise, or 0.97%, over the past five days, making it the top performer among Asian peers.
