MSMEs to drive Capital SFB loan growth
Financial Express Kolkata
|January 30, 2026
THE MICRO, SMALL, and medium enterprises (MSME) segment will drive the loan growth for Capital Small Finance Bank, with the recently signed India-EU free trade agreement boosting demand from the segment, Executive Director Munish Jain told FE in aninterview.
“We were able to grow the MSME segment by 42% year-on-year (YoY).This strengthens our conviction that demand from MSMEs — especially now, with added reasons following the trade agreement with the EU — will continue to rise. We target the middle-income group being a small finance bank,” Jain said.
