PMLA: ED Attaches ₹21,370-Cr Assets

As of December 2024 in FY25, the ED has attached proceeds of crime, under the prevention of money laundering act PMLA, with the aggregate value of ₹21,370 crore by issuance of 227 provisional attachment orders.
The Adjudicating Authority (AA) has confirmed attachment of properties worth ₹9,484 crore during the same period, data from the finance ministry's annual report of 2024-25 showed.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has filed 181 prosecution complaints (PCs), under the (PMLA), against the accused before special courts in the current financial year, up to December 31, 2024. In FY24, the total PCs filed were 281.
