Outlook for H2 remains strong with a rebound in corporate travel
HOSPITALITY MAJOR INDIAN Hotels Company (IHCL) on Tuesday reported a 48.6% yearon-year decline in net profit to %285 crore for the quarter ended September 30 (Q2FY26).
The company clarified that the net profit figure excludes a one-off exceptional gain of ?307 crore recorded in Q2FY25, related to the subsidiarisation of TajSATS. Despite the year-on-year decline, the Q2FY26 bottom line was better than analysts’ expectations of a net loss of 330 crore, according to poll of analysts by Bloomberg.
