Second tranche of FTA with Aus to be finalised soon

INDIA AND AUSTRALIA will soon finalise the second tranche of their free trade agreement and terms of reference (ToR) of the trade deal with Qatar will be finalised by the first week of October, commerce and industry minister Piyush Goyal said on Wednesday.
"My good friend and brother, the Honorable (Trade and Tourism Minister) Don Farrell and I are actively working to cross the finishing line," he said at FICCI LEADS 2025.
India and Australia are negotiating a Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement (CECA). This agreement builds on the Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement (ECTA) which was in the nature of an early harvest deal and came into force in December 2022.
