Anti-dumping duty imposed on Chinese, Vietnamese solar glass

INDIA HAS IMPOSED anti-dumping duty on imports of textured tempered glass — a key component in solar panels — from China and Vietnam.
The duty will be in effect for five years and will be calculated based on the difference between a reference price set by the government and the landed price of the glass.
Tempered glass protects the photovoltaic cells in solar panels. It is textured to reduce reflections. This anti-reflective glass increases solar module efficiency and performs better than conventional solar glass.
