Midcap IT firms largely unhurt by visa fee hike

MID-CAP IT SERVICES firms appear reasonably cushioned from the steep escalation in H-1B visa fees, to as high as $100,000,announced by the US administration earlier this year.

Commentary through the September quarter earnings suggests the exposure is far less direct than initially feared and that companies are working to insulate themselves from the impact of the move.
