IMAGINE my delight when we recently received the generous gift from friends of a '12 Multi Fuel Portable Outdoor Pizza Oven!.. just a few weeks after I had written a column about household appliances that I seldom use due to the fact I can’t really operate them! If, in fact, I can ever assemble them.
Is it destined to spend its days alongside that all-singing, all-dancing food processor, air fryer, juicer and yoghurt maker?
Lured by the thoughts of warm summer evenings on the terrace beneath the wisteria-draped pergola, a glass of chilled sauvignon blanc in one hand, a slice of the crispiest based quattro stagioni in the other, my husband and I set about assembling it. I must admit I was slightly alarmed when I read the words “adult supervision required”
