ARTETA SAYS ARSENALS POSITION OF STRENGTH MEANS THEY’RE ABLE TO RAISE BAR DURING JANUARY WINDOW
MIKEL ARTETA believes Arsenal's position at the top of the Premier League means they can target "another level of player" in the January transfer window.
Arteta wants to sign a winger to strengthen his squad, with Orlando City's Facundo Torres and Mykhaylo Mudryk, of Shakhtar Donetsk, on their radar.
The Gunners are also interested in a new midfielder and left-sided centre-back, but that might have to wait until the summer as the club focuses on adding a winger.
Arsenal have made a brilliant start to the season. They are two points clear of Manchester City at the top of the table with two matches to play before the World Cup break.
