Trump launches his third run for president... but without Ivanka

DONALD TRUMP today launched a third bid for the US presidency - but daughter Ivanka won't be taking part in his campaign.
He announced his run for the White House in 2024 despite being blamed by critics in his own Republican party for their poor results in last week's midterm elections. He also faces multiple federal and state investigations.
In a speech from his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, the former president declared: "America's comeback starts right now". Mr Trump, who lost the presidency in 2020 to Joe Biden, was flanked by more than 30 American flags and banners that read "Make America Great Again!" the slogan from his successful 2016 campaign.
"In order to make America great and glorious again, I am tonight announcing my candidacy for president of the United States," he said before an audience of several hundred supporters.
